Amanda Herman, LCPC
I aid you to heal and learn new coping skills to re-engage in or create a life you love.
Are you feeling like no one understands what you are going through? Maybe you do not know how to tell them, or you do not understand it yourself. It can feel worrisome thinking about how they will respond to these uncomfortable conversations.
It can feel isolating.
Feeling like no one can relate to you only makes matters worse. Shame creeps in because you blame yourself for how things are, which only leads to more isolation and guilt.
We will work together to break this vicious cycle!
You are not alone and there is hope for you to get back to yourself or to learn a new, more authentic way of being yourself.
You are the expert on you. I strive to understand your experience to best guide you to see where and how you might want to make changes in your life.
My goal is to help you achieve your goals! I provide a space for you to explore what is getting in the way of those goals. Together, we will work towards building insight and learning tools to help you love your life again – or perhaps love it more than you ever have.
You have what it takes within you.
Together, we will help you feel empowered to be your best self, living your best life!

A Bit About Me
As you will share much about yourself with me, here is a little bit about me!
- Recently, I began gardening for the first time and am absolutely in love with tending it and watching it grow. I am most excited for when the vegetables are ready to eat!
- My new puppy is a handful, but he is learning to be the “goodest” boy! He loves to go on walks, play in the yard, and sleep on my head at night!
- I am an avid puzzler. It’s quite the obsession, but I must say it has definitely taken a back seat to the puppy though!
